Current OCD treatments do not work for 30-50% of OCD sufferers.

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is an insidious disease

It creates a fog of uncertainty that disrupts daily routines. It causes anxiety, depression, loneliness, and despair. It destroys the quality of life, and can undermine the will to live.

It affects up to 3 million adults and 500,000 children in the U.S. — yet many cases go unreported and untreated.

And while there are effective treatments for some, they don’t work for everyone.

OUR GOAL

Our ambition is to develop a “functional” cure for OCD, allowing people with OCD to live beyond the limits of their disease. To do that, we started the Foundation for OCD Research (FFOR). At FFOR we’re making big investments in bold projects and an elite team of scientists in the areas of genetics, neuroscience, and therapeutics.
